Step 2: Select a Date Range or Financial Year

This helps in narrowing down the data to specific periods for accurate financial insights.

Step 3: Use the Comparison Feature

After your primary period is selected, use the “Compare With” option to choose another period for comparison.

You can compare:

Month vs. Month

Quarter vs. Quarter

Year vs. Year

Custom ranges

Giddh displays reports month/quarter/year-wise with side-by-side comparisons. It highlights changes in income, expenses, profit margins, and income before taxes using visual indicators—making it easy to track performance and identify trends.

Step 4: Analyze the Report

The comparison report includes:

  • Total Income and Expense figures

  • Profit or Loss amounts for each period

  • Income before taxes: The profit a business earns after deducting all expenses except taxes.

  • Choose Excel format to download the report.

This visual comparison helps business owners identify growth patterns, cost leakages, or revenue drops and take action accordingly.
